We like mission statements over here at Libre. They’re something to pin our hats to after a long day at life. They wake us up in the morning, tug at our blackened heart strings hard enough to stretch our apathy to feasible breaking points. They jolt us alive again after hope (again) has been lost. In other words, they’re our pepto-pink verbal prototype of the Energizer Bunny, sans drum and Ray Bans. In all seriousness: while we like publishing literature and marveling at outsider art, we’d like to do something with more of a global bite to it.
We’re open to ideas, have a smattering of our own, and enjoy collaboration on all fronts. Libre (whether wisely or not) likes to consider itself a warm hug on the internet for those who are well-versed in neurodivergent philosophy, who seek to support, promote, and foster its critical survival through the arts and charity. We like smart people who aren’t afraid to talk about what society still considers taboo: brain pain.
