Flourish
By: Tayla Naden
Tayla Naden maintains a strong focus on the process of her art rather than the end product. Often using mixed media techniques and materials for both two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces, she allows the project to create itself along the way, working intuitively with the chosen medium and subject. Each piece includes many layers and stages, which are represented by different colors, shapes, and textures. Each color, shape, and texture combine to represent “thought landscapes,” a term coined by Tayla to define the inspiration behind her work.
Tayla attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh's Online Division with a focus on web design and is currently studying for her Bachelor degree at Fort Hays University. She lives in Lindsborg, KS where she works remotely for NAMI Kansas, advocating for good mental health.
